happy time

Isn't is good to talk to friends that you haven't spoken with in a while. It's so refreshing. I have some great friends, I only with that I could live closer to them, and see them more often. Thank God for friends.

Taking a look...

There are a lot of things that can take our attention. Somethings are
neccessary some are not. The challenge today is to take a look at what
we are doing and determine the things that will have eternal impact.
Of course our family, and our jobs deserve our time and our effort.
Far too often we feel like we’re just running around, running this race
that has no end. Determine the things in your life that are truly worthy of
your time, and give those things 100% effort. Pray that God would
continue to reveal his plan, and his purpose for life. Pray that you
would use your time more wisely.

Man I hate these commericals at the movies these days. Oh yeah, I can blog from my phone now too!!! Man, I love this phone. But I did hear the other day that they are coming out with a Treo 700, I would be interested in getting my hands on one of those!

Movie Time

Going to see "Stealth," I love action movies so I am looking forward to this one. Got a lot of things on my mind, podcasting, work, my place. Going out to dinner too, I think to Razzos.

Well after thinking about the movie, I've decided that I didn't really like it all that much. They're were a lot of times in the movie where the lines really didn't fit, where they just seemed forced. Don't get me wrong, I love action movies, But it seemed like they used it to hide the graphics. I don't know why they did that because the graphics were actually really good.

My Week...

Good week for the most part, I had a great time at Children's Summer Camp. Returned home on Wednesday to find that my apartment had been broken into and about $6000 worth of stuff was stolen. So that was such a huge suprise for me, considering the fact that I've only been here for 3 months. Luckly I have insurance so most of my stuff will be covered. But anyways I got to play drums last friday night at a youth service so that was a lot of fun. I hope to be getting back into that soon. I have a busy weekend...a shoot saturday, and church sunday morning, and another shoot sunday afternoon. So I'm thinking about taking some of monday off.

The City

I love the city, although I don't technically live in the city. I live near a really large city, and I like to go to the city. If I get the chance when my lease is up I would love to move into the "city." Why? You might ask. Well it's simple. I Like the people, the diversity, the fast paced way of life. The buildings, the coffee, the bands, the places to eat, the train, pretty much everything.

Harry Potter

I couldn't even tell you what the new book is called. But all I know is that it's not a good idea to go to Barnes and Nobles on the night that it is released. I totally forgot about it, I packed up the laptop and thought I was going to enjoy a caramel latte and some quiet. Let's just say that, that wasn't the case. There were about 500 kids and their parents dressed up in costumes. It was kinda weird. I haven't read any of the books, so I guess I just don't get all of it.

Weekend...

I'm excited about this weekend, no plans except church on sunday. I have been running around a lot. Tomorrow I think I am going to take some pictures of Houston, probably get some noodles at the vietnamise place. Maybe even catch a movie tomorrow night, We'll see though. Work this week was great, had a great meeting with some childrens volunteers...we're getting ready to do some really cool things. I'll keep you updated.

Acceptance

You have to check out this band called "Acceptance." They rock, it's like all that I have been listening to over the past few days.

Summer Camp

I got back from summer camp this past week. It was a great time we had almost 250 kids there. I was very excited about being out in the middle of nowhere away from the cell phone, and the internet. It was much needed. I was still on the computer a lot because I was taking pictures and video. The next time I get do something like this hopefuly I will leave the computer behind.
