Because of my previous job as a news videographer I am addicted to watching tv news. It doesn’t matter what I am doing in the house or when the clock strikes 6pm or 10pm I always turn on the tube. The footage that is coming out of New Orleans is just amazing.
I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like to still be in that city. I saw a video on CNN.com today where there was a women in a wheelchair that had died. Someone had covered her in a blanket. There was also another body next to the wheelchair. People are being bussed from LA to here in Houston, our church is doing whatever we can to help out. I heard someone say today that God uses situations like this to bring “people of faith” together. And we need to rise up and take action. To serve others.
